Aside from being tastefully furnished, every room is elegantly appointed to make you feel at home away from home. 225 guestrooms, 12 executive suites, two presidential suites and one 1000 sq.metres penthouse all offer an unsurpassed view of Beirut. As you would expect the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, direct dial telephones with voice mail, colour TV's with satellite programming and in-house channels, internet with remote control keyboards, Biz Comm systems, individually controlled air-conditioning, mini-bars, safes, express laundry service, and 24-hour room service. Other facilities include a shopping arcade, express check-in and checkout, secure valet parking for 300 cars, car rental and a limousine service to and from the airport.

There is also a business centre equipped with everything you'd find in an office, including a secretary to offer assistance. There are eight meeting rooms and one grand ballroom with a capacity for up to 650 people – a large enough venue for weddings, fashion shows and product launches. If you have time for a holiday the tour advisors at the travel desk may suggest a visit to the Beka'a Valley (Baalbeck, Anjar and Ksara), Mount Lebanon ( Broumana, Beiteddine, Beit Merri, Aley, Bhamdoune), the Cedars – represented on the nation's flag, or Bacharreh – the birthplace of Khalil Gibran. On the coast there are Byblos and Tripoli to the North, and Sidon and Tyr to the South. The ski slopes of Faraya and Fakra are only an hour away, and the famous Jeita Grotto is just a 45 minute drive.
