Ladies and Gentlemen, dear friends,

I would like to thank you all for this award, It means a great deal to me, as it recognises the efforts of the Al Habtoor Group to assist the Lebanese Government and the Lebanese people in rebuilding their beautiful country and its capital, Beirut.

The Al Habtoor Group is proud to have been one of the first companies to invest in the reconstruction of the country. Our commitment to Lebanon is solid and we have already completed our first major project.

The Beirut Metropolitan Palace Hotel and have many future plans to assist the Government in bringing economic prosperity to the country.

We will continue to invest here within a long term strategy and executive projects, which will benefit the Lebanese people, and to support the Lebanese Government's efforts to once again make Lebanon a leader in the Arab world.

Finally, ladies and gentlemen, let me thank you once again for this award. Let us work together so we may look forward to a bright future for Lebanon and us all.
