Dubai 27th May: Paul Findley, well known 85 years old US author and former member of the US Congress, for 22 years recently visited his friend Khalaf Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, to present him with a signed copy of his new book (TITLE). Mr. Findley have been visiting Dubai with the delegation from CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) and had stayed behind the discuss Pan-Arab/US relations and interests with the Chairman and how organisations such as Al Habtoor Group can contribute to that understanding. Said Mr. Al Habtoor 'Our company has benefited from the tremendous growth of Dubai and UAE which is helped by the efforts of the peoples of many nations and faiths. I am certain that experience can be applied to help understand and solve most of the tensions that exist between our bretheren the US and in the Arab world.' Mr. Findley has now returned to the US to continue his work and writing but will continue to visit whenever, as he said '...time and good health permit.

After working for 6 years in conjunction with Al Habtoor Motors to grow the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation franchise here in Dubai, Mr. Katsuya Onoda is returning to Japan to continue the development of MMCs business in the region but from the Corporate HQ in Tokyo.

Mr. Onoda visited Mr. Khalaf Al Habtoor to make his farewells and to receive the good wishes of the Chairman in his new role.
