Joanna Andrews is an award-winning British journalist with 18 years experience as an International journalist (both infront and behind the camera). She worked for Reuters in Europe and Asia, and CNBC for more than a decade in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
Joanna was a key player in developing the world’s first-ever truly global show ‘Worldwide Exchange’ on CNBC; broadcast live, simultaneously from London, New York and Singapore. She has produced several award winning shows.
She produced and reported on ‘Gateway to the Middle East’ travelling extensively around the MENA region, interviewing some of the best-known names from the region. She was a regular attendee and participant at the World Economic Forum’s.
Joanna has covered international news, politics and business for nearly two decades and has interviewed some of the world’s leading business players and politicians and newsmakers. She has covered many historic events; including the 1997 Hong Kong handover, Olympic Games, Timor Crisis, Asian Tsumani and the Arab Spring and Uprising as well as many changes in governments around the world.
She went on to become Editor of CPI Financial’s flagship magazine ‘Banker Middle East’ where she also launched and headed the company’s broadcast division. She joined the Habtoor Group in 2012 as Editor-in-chief of Al Shindagah and is actively involved in all the Group entites.
