Boosting US-UAE ties

While in Washington DC, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor took time out of his schedule to call into the US-UAE Business Council.

Al Habtoor Group Chairman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor paid a visit to the US-UAE Business Council in Washington DC on Tuesday 25 October 2016. Al Habtoor met with Danny Sebright, President of the US-UAE Business Council and several other members of the Council.

They talked about the upcoming US presidential election, and discussed the passing by Congress of the Justice Against Terrorism Act (JASTA) and its implications. They exchanged ideas and discussed investment opportunities between the UAE and US.

Chairman Al Habtoor said, “The UAE is a land of opportunity for businesses all over the world. It has become the major international centre of business. There are many advantages for business professionals, foreign investors and entrepreneurs. It is an environment that encourages businesses to flourish. In addition, there are significant tax and customs benefits.”

Al Habtoor was in Washington DC to address the 25th Annual Arab-US Policymakers Conference organized by the National Council on US-Arab Relations.
