Another Ambassador stopped by to say goodbye to the Al Habtoor Group Chairman. His Excellency Zoltán Jancsi, Hungarian Ambassador to the UAE, visited Al Habtoor on Wednesday December 10, 2014 to bid farewell to Khalaf Al Habtoor.
HE Jancsi, who has been in the UAE for three years, left his post - which he took on in September 2013 - at the end of December. “I have met the Ambassador several times, and wish him all the very best for the future.”
The Al Habtoor Chairman, who is very fond of Hungary, has two large investments there. In 2012 he purchased the historic Le Méridien Budapest, and last year he added the InterContinental Hotel Budapest to his international portfolio.
Last year, Emirates Airline launched daily flights to Budapest and opened a customer contact center in the city.
