Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor had the pleasure of receiving the outgoing US Ambassador to the UAE, Richard Olson, and the US Consul General, Justin Siberell, on Sunday, April 17, 2011.
The Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, Mr Khalaf, welcomed the two men to his company headquarters on Al Wasl Road, Dubai at 10am.
He was accompanied by Mohammed Al Habtoor, the vice-chairman and group CEO.
The two men discussed recent political events in the Middle East, as well as American foreign policy in the region and the fact that Mr Olsen is due to finish his term as US Ambassador to the UAE and assume a new position in Afghanistan. They also exchanged gifts. Mr Khalaf congratulated Mr Olsen on finishing his term in office and wished him every success in the future.
