The Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor welcomed a delegation from the Canadian Embassy at his office on Al Wasl Road on Wednesday, October 9.
The delegation included the Canadian Ambassador to the UAE, His Excellency Arif Z. Lalani and Consul General Ross Miller. Also present was Mohammed Al Habtoor Group Vice Chairman and CEO of the Al Habtoor Group.
The group discussed the possibility of exploring new commercial links between the Al Habtoor Group and Canadian companies in the UAE.
Khalaf Al Habtoor said, “I would like to encourage more Canadian companies to do business in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE and Dubai in particular is very supportive of foreign businesses. There are many benefits for companies here and our economy is strengthening by the day.”
Al Habtoor gave the Ambassador and Consul General each a signed copy of his best-selling autobiography ‘Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor: The Autobiography’.
