The Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation in Dubai recently launched its Ramadan campaign for the year 1434 AH/2013 AD. It also unveiled its charitable programs during the holy month, under the motto ‘Along the paths of goodness for the satisfaction of God the Merciful’.
Sultan Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of the KAH Foundation Board of Trustees, said, “The Ramadan campaign lies within the framework of the Foundation’s commitment towards the community and humanitarian issues. We hope that this program will achieve the desired positive outcomes and lofty goals of these campaigns which will benefit 5,000 families and 50,000 fasting Muslims.”
He added, “In line with the campaign launched this year, the Foundation will give Iftaar meals to fasting Muslims in various areas inside and outside the Emirates. A Ramadan tent will be set up at Al Farooq Mosque and Centre in Jumeirah as well as in Ash-Shura Mosque in Jordan and in Lebanon, to give Iftaar meals.”
