The Al Habtoor Group hosted a Hospitality Recruitment Open Day at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa on Thursday, May 9. Many nationals came to hear about the vacant positions available for Emiratis in the Group’s hotels division.
Paul Rayner, Advisor to the Chairman, who made the opening address, said the Group aims to hire many Emirati’s throughout all its entities, “Under the leadership of our Chairman, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, the Group has been instructed to give Emiratis a top priority. However, it is important to point out that we are looking for people who want a career at the Al Habtoor Group. Retaining our staff is as important as recruiting them. We have a rigorous training program and mentorship program for any new recruit.”
There were 40 jobs available with the hotels division at the Recruitment Open Day. The vacancies were entry level to middle management. The open day was aimed at generating interest in the hotel.
The Group will be opening four new hotels over the next four years; a WESTIN, a W Hotel and a St. Regis as well as the Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah.
