The Al Habtoor Group announces the addition of former Credit Suisse (UK) Ltd Vice Chairman

The Al Habtoor Group is delighted to announce the addition of the former Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse (UK) Ltd as a member of their team, with immediate effect.

Paul Rayner has come out of retirement, having left the world of banking in 2007, to take up the postion of Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group. Rayner, 58, has a wealth of banking experience, having worked in the industry for nearly 40 years.

He was Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse UK) Ltd from 2004 to 2007. Before that, he held the roles of Senior Advisor and Head of Offshore Private Banking with the company. Much of his career was at Barclay’s Private Bank, his last position being Regional Director Middle and Far East.

Originally from Kent in the United Kingdom, he has travelled the world and is particularly familiar with the Middle East and Asia.

Khalaf Al Habtoor, the Founder and Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group welcomed Rayner to the company: “I’ve known Paul Rayner for many years and I’m delighted that he has joined the Al Habtoor Group,” he said. “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge on global banking matters and is already familiar with this part of the world. He will no doubt be a welcome addition to the company.”
