The new Outlander is packed with safety features like ABS, EBD and RISE body
structure. The new Outlander releases Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) on hard
braking and on slippery roads to prevent wheel lock and maintain steering
control and the Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) evenly distributes the
braking force to the rear wheels. Besides all these the intelligent feature
Active Stability Control – ASC, identifies unstable movement of the vehicle and
stabilizes it by controlling brakes and governing its engine output. The ASC
system utilizes the onboard sensors to compare driver operation with actual
vehicle direction and thus assures added safety to occupants as well as the
