Robert Thame led Dubai TV to a 9-7 win against Al Habtoor Group in a friendly one-off high-goal polo match at Albwardy Polo Club. The five-chukka game, held in support of the Riding for Disabled Association of Dubai, was a close fought battle, with outstanding riding displayed by both Thame and Peter Webb, who slammed in 6 goals for Al Habtoor Group. Despite fine play in the midfield, Al Habtoor had trouble breaking the defensive plays of Dubai TV maintained by Thame, Najib Khoory and Satish Seemar. Al Habtoor opened the scoring with an outstanding run from Rashid Al Habtoor. At half-time six young challenged riders from the Riding for Disabled Association of Dubai gave a display of their horsemanship, accompanied by chief instructor Nathalie Green. After the match Sultan Al Habtoor donated a car to the RDAD.
