Old Scenario, New Stage

It is obvious that the US scenario, which is being implemented in our region at present, was written by experts with full attention to details.

Every time the plans, goals and direction were the same, only with minor changes to serve the basic strategy, in line with the political situation in the world.

In theory, on international level everything happened as planned, as the first part of the scenario was implemented with great success after several successive American administrations selected the players.

Let me add here that these US administrations belonged to different parties. The current administration has a set policy that was not written, but it is strictly implemented. It gives priorities strictly to the American interests, without any consideration of marginal or trivial issues.

Administrations change, but the policy does not; the strategy remains permanent. The American policy (or scenario) set for the world has been amended several times to fit the stage in question. Obviously its main headlines were aimed at facilitating intervention in areas that are outside the direct control of that policy.

I do not wish to expose American strategic policy in details, as this would take volumes. But we will talk about the events of the last quarter of the past century where its actual objectives focused in the following priorities:

In the Middle East and Arab World:

Protection of Israel and using it as an advance post and a cudgel whenever needed (attacks of nationalist regimes - like the war waged on Gamal Abdul Nasser and prevention of any links between Asian and African Arab countries through expansion of Zionist occupation); tightening the control of the Arab oil fields in the Gulf (through the first and second Gulf wars); exhaustion of Arab wealth and potentials to prevent the emergence of a stable society that have full control of its economic and human resources.

On the international arena:

US worked towards strangling the so-called balance imposed by the Eastern Block. Naturally, that block carried the elements of its collapse in all its political and economic plans. However, the American plot speeded its internal erosion. Obviously, there are certain areas on international level that did not fully succumb to the American scenario, leaving gaps here and there. But these are falling one after another, yielding to the steely pressure.

It seems that everything should follow the American pace. Every player in the scenario - a country, person, organization, or simply a group, is playing its role as decided by the US. Originally the Arabs were mere spectators, as they did not know much about the game, nor did they understand its objectives. But their major role in fact was to finance the high-cost play, paying hundreds of billions of US Dollars cut from their own flesh and wealth.

I wouldn't reveal a secret by saying that the star of the scenario has always been (and still is) the US, while trivial roles were played by UK, France, Germany, EU, Russia, China and Israel, some chorus roles were given to some Latin American countries. Unfortunately, we, Arabs, were given the role of financing and promoting the play.

I do not want to look pessimistic, nor I want to propagate a rosy environment in international relations. All I wished was to think loud and try to use those ideas in a world where we have no intention of giving up our national interests nor conceding justice.

Those lines are also an attempt to shed light onto existing sides of international policies. They are merely intended to point out to an existing situation. Its sole purpose is to maintain peoples right for self-determination within a society based upon freedom, equality and justice.
